I have neglected this blog........

January?  Are you kidding me?  That's the last time I updated this blog?  Wow!  No excuses....just neglect.

Isn't that often what happens in our lives?  We neglect things, and then they die.  This can happen with relationships, plants and in our relationship with God...or can it?  Yes, the relationship with God can die, but only on our end.

God continually pursues us, continually runs to us and calls to us, continually seeks us out, even in our rebellion.

God has been issuing wake up calls to our nation for years and years and years now.  9/11 was a major wake up call; Katrina was a major wake up call; the fires, floods and financial crises we've experienced...all major wake up calls.

Our nation has sought after other idols and embraced the moral-less void so typical of those who turn their backs on the living God of the universe.

I am reading a very good book by Chuck Pierce called God's Unfolding Battle Plan- A field manual for advancing the kingdom of God.  Published in 2007, it's amazing to see the accuracy and clarity it gives about the church, our nation and what is coming.  I highly recommend this book.
